3.6 Solution Design Overview
In this section we will drill into the logical design of our Physician-Patient Interaction Solution. The
system has only two instead of four types of users after trimming it down; administrators, and
physician. Each of them can perform a set of tasks. The Use Case Diagram will highlight the
actions and roles of each of these users.
3.6.1 Physician Use Case Diagram

Physician is a general description to any medical staffs. This profile is valid for as long as the
person is still involved in the medical field. If the person is rendered inactive, his status of
physician-ship will be blocked thus preventing any further updates. Roles played by the physicians
are shown in the diagram. Note that all physician is has a patient record since every person in this
nation has is a patient.
